Kos is a beautiful island in Greece, which means it enjoys a hot Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters. If you prefer a warm climate, August is the perfect month to visit. Temperatures in Kos are at their highest in August, often reaching up to 29°C and rarely dropping below 21°C. With less than three rainy days per month in summer, you can leave your raincoat at home and look forward to 14 hours of sunshine a day. If you love swimming, head to the beach to enjoy an average sea temperature of 24°C to 26°C.
