For something more specialised, Restaurant Grill La Laja whips up an excellent fried fish paired with one of its international wines. Or you can always opt to take advantage of the 24-hour room service and dine on your balcony.

Cocktails under the sun anyone? With three supersize pools and a waterside bar mixing up refreshments, you can while away the hours topping up your tan. That’s when you’re not taking part in its themed parties, Zumba classes and aqua gym. And this hotel may be all glitz and glamour, but you’ll still find traditional entertainment such as bingo and billiards. Need to escape the cannon balls and games of hide and seek? The adult-only bar located on the sixth floor is open between 11am and 6pm (you can thank us later). When dusk falls, live music and dance shows provide hours of fun!
