Free mobile data terms and conditions

1. This promotion is offered by Thomas Cook Tourism (UK) Company Limited, incorporated in England and Wales with registered company number 12211539. By participating in the promotion, you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

2. PROMOTION

2.1. If you make a Qualifying Booking (defined below), each booking will, subject to availability, receive complimentary mobile data via an eSIM with 1 GB of data:

2.2. If your Qualifying Booking is not one of the following destinations - Malta, Gambia, Aruba, Cuba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Norway, Sweden, Barbados, Jamaica, Indonesia, Montenegro, Antigua,Barbuda ,Sri Lanka,  Switzerland, Latvia, India, Gibraltar, Romania, Lithuania, Hong Kong, Singapore, Finland.

3. QUALIFYING BOOKING

3.1. Qualifying Booking means a booking which meets all of the following requirements:

3.2. Order must be for a package holiday that includes flights and any accommodation to any destination as specified in section 2;

3.3. Order must be placed on or after 16 Jan 2025 and before 31st May 2026 (offer maybe extended);

3.4. Order must be at least 3 days before departure;

3.5. Booking must have a return date of no later than 30 September 2026;

3.6. You will receive one eSIM per booking. Details of how to redeem the eSIM will be sent to the lead passenger but the eSIM can be activated by any device within your booking party and members of your party will be able to hotspot from the device that the eSIM is activated on.

4. AVAILABILITY

4.1. This promotion is subject to availability as there is a set allocation of eSIMs. 

5. ESIM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5.1. The eSIM is provided by a third-party supplier, Airalo who have their own terms and conditions which will apply. Although Thomas Cook will supply the eSIM on your behalf, it is your responsibility to comply with their terms.

5.2. You’ll be required to download Airalo’s mobile app to be able to use the eSIM which requires you to have one of the compatible devices listed here.

5.3. If you use all the data we have provided you with and you want more data, you’ll need to top-up via Airalo’s app and you’ll be responsible for any costs for the extra data.

5.4. The eSIM is non-exchangeable and no cash equivalent will be given by Thomas Cook if you choose not to use the eSIM or if you’re unable to use it because you don’t have a compatible device.

6. LEGAL

6.1. Subject to section 6.2, Thomas Cook shall not be liable for any loss you suffer arising from the provision (or non-provision) or use of the eSIM.

6.2. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Thomas Cook (i) in relation to personal injury or death caused by Thomas Cook’s negligence or (ii) in respect of its obligations under applicable legislation.

6.3. The personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with Thomas Cook’s privacy policy. Thomas Cook will use the personal information provided by you for the purposes of administering the promotion, including emailing you after booking confirming you wish to receive the eSim.  Thomas Cook will not provide personal data to Airalo, however you will need to provide personal information to them directly to utilise the free offer.

6.4. Thomas Cook's standard booking conditions apply to bookings, please refer to our terms of business and the other terms and conditions displayed as part of the booking journey.

6.5. These terms and conditions (and any issues or disputes arising) shall be governed by the law of England and Wales law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If this does happen, we would like to be aware. If you book with us and within 24 hours of receipt of a booking confirmation find your holiday on sale, and available to book at a lower price on a UK based Online Travel Agent comparable website as described below, we would be happy to reduce the price of your holiday or refund the difference to you! £1 deposit on long haul holidays
  • A non-refundable £1 deposit per person may apply to specific airline carriers, routes and departure dates. If applicable, the £1 deposit amount will be displayed on the booking journey and must be paid at the time of booking. Your Booking Confirmation will set out the date(s) by which payment of the balance of your deposit is due. Should you cancel your booking before the balance of your deposit is due, you will remain liable for payment of the balance of your deposit.
