Let the children enter the world of a fairytale at the medieval themed Magic Robin Hood, located on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The resort is an Aladdin’s cave of activities to keep families entertained for a week or fortnight, including a waterpark (min. height 1.2m), mini club, teens’ club, video game hall, rock climbing wall, mini golf and a skating rink. And if that wasn’t enough there’s a skate park, teqball tables, human foosball, laser tag, archery, tennis courts and football fields.
Parents may opt to join a centre of tranquillity at Lady Marian’s Spa. It’s equipped with an ice fountain, Jacuzzi®, contrast shower, Turkish bath, Scottish shower, sauna, whirlpool, hammocks and cascades. Children over 12 are welcome too but only if accompanied by an adult.
When it’s time to eat, you can choose to dine at either The Golden Arrow Buffet or the poolside Long Bow Terrace. Both include a children’s buffet and cater for celiacs, allergies and other diets. For a special dinner visit one of the themed eateries, such as Robin Forest Cafe (with a Sherwood Forest setting) and Friar Tuck’s Inn, where succulent meat is served fresh from the grill. Further options include Arrocería, dishing up rice dishes, plus an Italian. There’s also four medieval themed bars, with one just for adults.
The lodges are split into separate villages across the resort: Nottingham, Sherwood, Robin Hood Garden and Lion Heart. The Nottingham area is themed around the home of the sheriff, with lodges catering for between 2 and 4 guests. Larger families may opt for Sherwood, where each building has space for groups of 2-7. The Robin Hood Garden Lodges are themed around the character’s hideout with capacity for 2-5. Lion Heart is the premium choice, with access to additional perks – including a medieval themed dinner show.
Each lodge includes air conditioning, a TV, safe, microwave, heating, tea & coffee making facilities and a sofa bed. Larger lodges have bunk beds, while upgrades include private Jacuzzis®. If you opt for All Inclusive then all your meals, snacks and drinks will be included, with the exception of champagne, cava and reserves.
Benidorm, with its sandy shores, is just over 4km from Magic Robin Hood Resort, where there’s an abundance of bars, cafes and restaurants. Children will relish a visit to Terra Natura (8.5km away) where they can see elephants, tigers, lions and rhinos. While no one’s too old or young to enjoy a trip to the Valor Chocolate Museum (16km away).

Not the best but still good
Went on holiday as a family. We had 3 lodges and they were close (one was next door) we was in 2 new sherwood lodges and one Nottingham lodge. The food was cold but still nice. Most nights, entertainment wasn’t exactly the best but still watched eitherway. The queues at the bar were long (not if you was premium) there was also multiple activity’s during the day. Also, you had to pay €1 for a cup as a deposit and if you give the cup back you get your money back at the end of the holiday. The seating around the pool wasn’t really that busy. Talking about the seating, on the night in the entertainment place, the seats were really hard to get. The arcade was decent and there was the teens place. The games room was also good. In there there was ps5’s, Xbox and steering wheels
Family holiday
Great holiday been 3 times before covid Entertainment yes could be better some was great some wasn’t. Staff excellent service 5star remembered us from previous visits. Loges where great we had 3 different loges near each other which was great and cleaned every day. Food definitely gone down hill cold had to use a microwave nearly every day had to have kids section but even that was cold. I don’t get the queuing system at the bar it was crazy get more bar staff Flies get on my nerves Overall great holiday Make changes to food and ensure it’s hot and the queuing system at the bar and bring more singers and comedy acts instead of magic shows I might return again.
Best time ever
Well where do I start this resort didn’t disappoint from the minute we arrived to when we left. The reception staff was so welcoming and we got checked in very quickly with a bundle of information we were took to our accommodation in a buggy and was delighted to find we were five minutes walk to the pool and the main food and entertainment hub. We were in Sherwood Forest (4111) and it was very accommodating for me my sister and my two nephews. The food was excellent and there was a good variety each day to choose from drinks was the same had to queue up for drinks but it didn’t take long and they didn’t mind you doubling up. The pool is cold like a lot of Spain’s pools but they are clean and the life guards are very attentive on safety we really enjoyed the foam party and there was different entertainment on each day for the kids etc. I would strongly recommend you down load the app through that you can book loads of different things and it’s a good idea to do this immediately because things gets booked up fast. We would recommend the following The medieval banquet The evening entertainment The pizza restaurant Free buses into Benidorm (taxi back 9 euros) Book the complimentary meal at the restaurant in Benidorm. We loved every minute and could not fault it at all Make sure you get your cards up exchange for your plastic cups and don’t loose the receipt or you won’t get your refund.
