Sleep Quality

Excellent and memorable

May 2022 | nicoledX3515SW

We were a family of 3 staying for originally 7 nights but extended our stay to 10 nights. The facilities are great and the view from the hotel is amazing!! All the staff were so friendly and any time we needed something or had a question they were happy to help. An extra mention to Gelas and Goga in the buffet restaurant and Jimmy at the pool bar. They were always so happy and went above and beyond. They really made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. Also the bar man and waiters Lucas, Hara ,Giannis and Andoni in the main Bar. Great cocktails and service. Try the Mathitsa sour cocktail. Nicolas and Costas at the beach Bar too.. We would definitely return.

4th visit

May 2022 | Jammy_Dodgers123

As the title suggests this is the 4th time we have visited Blue Domes. This time however we were slightly disappointed. We are mitsis friends gold tier members and didn’t feel the service was a good as previous visits. No little surprise gifts left in room this year! No manager’s cocktail party! The resort is still immaculate and the rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh beach towels left in room also . The mini bar was filled every morning this year it also had red , white and rose wine (half bottles) included. Got to mention Maria and the guys and girls on the beach bar they were all excellent. We first met Maria 10 years ago on our first visit so have become friends. We were lucky to get reservations for the A La Carte restaurants( we booked before arrival )The food and service here was excellent! The food in the main restaurant was also good lots of choice albeit it could have been warmer on some occasions. Got to mention Yanis who we’ve known for years he was always polite and professional handing out face masks as you enter the restaurant. We do feel some kind of queuing system should be in use at the pool side restaurants as they were very busy especially the pitta corner which was the most popular. There should be a designated area to queue as people just came from all angles when a table came free! The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the entertainment! Or should I say the lack of it! This is really important as the hotel is an hours walk away from Kardamena or €20 return trip in a taxi . On previous visits there has been professional acts on most evenings we understand the season has just begun but that’s no consolation to guests who have paid a lot of money to stay here. Also getting a drink in the evening was stressful! I queued for over half hour in the lobby bar most evenings. I felt sorry for the girl behind the bar she worked alone non stop for hours! The main bar was no better! They were very understaffed also . Only 2 members of staff taking orders for table service I tried on a number of occasions to get a drink myself but was told to sit down . On our last evening for some unknown reason they stopped serving cocktails at 11 pm bearing in mind the bar is open till 2am is not acceptable! Don’t get me wrong we had a lovely time and will return hopefully soon, but felt we needed to bring these points to the attention of the management. Have a good summer.

All Blue Domes staff including Monica & Maria

Whilst the weather was not on our side during our stay (1-8 May 2022), the staff at the hotel could not do enough to ensure that this did not spoil our time at Blue Domes. It was the first time that we’d ever gone all-inclusive. We could not believe how generous and available the provision of food and drink was - it was incredible! However, at lunch time queues did tend to form at the various eateries so we can only imagine what it must be like high season. I would recommend going to the hotel’s main restaurant to avoid this as, even though busy, there were never any queues. A special mention to Monica at the pool bar and Maria from the beach bar who were absolutely delightful - so warm and welcoming. Nothing was ever a problem. A real credit to the hotel and the Mitsis family. Also, a huge thank you to all of the buggy drivers who were always available to transport my mum around the complex as she was struggling to walk with a knee injury. Having this facility made her holiday. Only point to note, it was only on attempting to have dinner in one of the a la carte restaurants one evening that we were told that all reservations were pre-booked before arrival. When we tried to book with concierge, all restaurants were fully booked for the week. However, I raised our disappointment with the hotel manager and thankfully, we were able to dine at two of the restaurants (Greek and Italian) during our stay. Both were very nice. Overall, my parents and my husband and I had a pleasant stay.
