You can also try windsurfing or head out to sea on a boat trip. History buffs can learn more about the Kardamenas history at the Folklore Museum.

You’ll find all the amenities you need along the beach, whether you’re after some lunch, or a few cold beers to start off your evening out nice and early. The watersports companies operate from the beach, so you never really need to leave the sands.

Great nightlife

If you do feel like exploring, there are plenty of ways to spend your time. From interesting museums to day trips to other islands, you won’t be short of things to do. Kos Town is around half an hour’s drive away if you want to visit the island’s capital, but make sure you get back to Kardamena in time for the evening. The resort is the nightlife capital of Kos, and has a fantastic array of lively bars and late night clubs.
