The hotel has seven outdoor pools, including a heated one and four for children. You'll be able to take part in activities such as aerobics, aqua aerobics and darts, and you can also play football, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball. Princesa Yaiza Suite Resort Hotel has a gym where you can work out, or you can join in one of the fitness classes. Princesa Yaiza Suite Resort is 100m from the closest beach, Playa Dorada, which has clear waters and white sand. If you want to buy some snacks, the nearest supermarket is also 100m from the hotel. The centre of Playa Blanca is 500m from the hotel, where you'll find a number of shops and retail outlets, as well as restaurants that have ocean views. You can take a short drive to Papagayo, which is one of the most popular destinations on the island. The beach is considered a national park, and its shallow waters means that it's suitable for children to swim in.

The rooms at Princesa Yaiza Suite Resort are modern in style. Each room has a TV, as well as a balcony or a terrace.

Lovely experience at the Princess Yaiza Hotel Resort - Would recommend!
This was our first holiday in a few years and safe to say we were not disappointed! My parents recommended this resort to us after they had recently stayed. The Room, bar and all the facilities were great and we especially loved the pool and the restaurants. All the staff were incredibly approachable and nothing was never too much of an ask. We would love to say a big thank you to Beatriz who organised our excursions (we would thoroughly recommend the paragliding and the kayaking! ;) ) Catalina and Adam who were very helpful and friendly and assisted us on a few occasions. There were a few others that assisted us but I am afraid we didn’t catch their names but would also like to thank them too! Thank you for making our trip a memorable stay, we hope to visit again. Isabel and Adam
Avoid unless taking children
The hotel was lovely, pools good, rooms spacious and food excellent. But the whole place was geared for families with children. Impossible to enjoy a quiet meal at breakfast or dinner, as dining rooms were overrun with poorly controlled and badly behaved often screaming babies and children. No section was reserved for adults only - unless you opted to pay for the extremely expensive Isla Lobos restaurant (and this too is not adults only for dinner). The only outdoor restaurant was jam packed with pushchairs and loud families, with children crowding the buffet, so we were conigned to a small dark corner of the indoor restaurant, which had the atmosphereof a cantee.. And this was during term time. At breakfast, costumed workers from the kids club visited the children dining, disturbing any possible peace further. Adult entertainment was very poor, and children stayed throughout, many shouting and running round during performances. There were no quie or peaceful areas of the hotel in which to enjoy afternoon relaxation. We have 4 children of our own, now grown up. We do understand the needs of families, but were shocked at the inconsiderate behaviour of those we were holidaying with. Rooms were noisy, with non existent sound proofing. We will not return. Most of the excellent reviews have been given by those with small children, reflecting the orientation of the hotel. Hotel management need to consider the needs of all guests in their provision, or advertise themselves as a family only resort.
Excellent first holiday with 9 month old
My wife, 9 month old daughter and I had an amazing holiday in Princesa Yaiza. Staff were super kind. Everyone from servers in the restaurants to guest relations to the Kikoland staff were great. Our favourite was Lena (who plays Princess Yaiza). She also did some babysitting for daughter and she was awesome! Had an excellent way with our daughter who can be tricky in the evenings! Food was really good. Lots of options. The Isla de Lobos restaurant is amazing. Great food and an awesome view. Hotel is definitely best suited for families with young children. Really excellent for kids - they all love Kikoland! Pool is very nice and there is lots of space to sit out (in the sun or the shade)
