Weather and climate in Sidari

Temperature: 26°C on average in July.

Best time to visit: Enjoy prime beach weather in June before it really heats up.

Summer in Corfu is slightly milder than mainland Greece, but the breezy evenings will cool you down. From May through to October, temperatures stick in the mid-20s (°C), and then dip down during the winter, when it’s much cooler and quite wet. However, spring sees the mercury shoot back up again and if you like it hot, book your holiday for July or August; they’re the warmest months, with averages highs of 31°C.

Sidari is best for...

Families: With clean beaches and loads of fun stuff (like a water park and horse riding) Sidari holidays are perfect for families. Greek people love kids too, and tend to spoil them rotten! So you can expect a warm welcome for the little ones wherever you go, including in restaurants and cafés.

Beach lovers: You have three fabulous beaches to choose from, including the main sandy beach near the town. It’s the biggest of the lot, with water sports and beach cafés on offer, as well as safe, clean water that’s great for timid toe-dippers or paddlers.

Couples: With laid-back tavernas and the breathtaking Canal d’Amour on your doorstep, this island retreat is ideal for a romantic couples’ getaway.
