Weather and climate in Kavos

Temperature: 5-22°C

June marks the start of summer and it’s the hottest time of the year; just in time for peak party season. Temperatures tend to stay around 20°C and above, with up to 13 hours of sunshine a day, so that’s plenty of time for topping up your tan. If you’re looking for laid-back holidays to Kavos, spring and autumn are the best times to visit. You can explore the area at your leisure without the big crowds or scorching heat. Winters can be pretty wet and a bit on the chilly side, but it’s still a great time to visit if you want to avoid the partygoers and see a very different side to this beautiful island.

Kavos is best for...

Clubbers: Looking for a party holiday? You’ve got it. This is one of Corfu’s top nightlife capitals, and you’ll find lots of bars and clubs by the beach and along the main strip.

Beach lovers: The resort’s golden sands (all 8km of them) are among the island's finest, and they’re perfect for relaxation and adventure alike; you can sunbathe, take a boat trip, and tackle some water sports.

Mates: Beaches and water sports by day, bars and clubs by night; what more could you want from a holiday with your best mates? And if you’re celebrating a forthcoming wedding, why not head here for the best hen and stag party experience in the Med?
