Cook's Club Alanya

Cook's Club Alanya is more than just a beach pad - it’s part of a new generation of hotels designed for a new generation of travellers aged 16-plus. In the heart of all the action, this gem is right on Kleopatra’s sandy shores and just moments away from Alanya’s famed Bar Street. And that means you’ll find tonnes of buzzing pubs, bars and clubs within easy stumbling distance of your bed.

When you’ve had your fill of night-time escapades, refresh your tan with a scrub at the traditional hammam and your skin will be glowing again in no time. Or, if you’re aiming for chilled-out bliss, you can’t go wrong with a massage! A spa treatment is the perfect finishing touch to a dreamy day lazing on the private beach. Or sip signature cocktails from the Captain Cook Bar while the resident DJ mans the decks by the pool.

Ready for some entertainment? Let off steam in the Rage Room, step into a VR world, or organise a private disco just for you and your crew. And if you’re still full of beans, the gym’s got everything you need for a fantastic workout. You could even go wild with water sports down at the beach.

Over at the Cantina, mix up the menu with speciality Turkish barbecues, freshly cooked temptations from the live-cooking stations and a tasty selection of veggie and vegan dishes. Whether you go B&B, Half Board or All Inclusive, make sure you try the freshly baked pide (the local pizza-like flatbread) hot out of the woodfired oven. Best paired with a stunner of a sunset!

Rooms and suites are stripped back and simple, all 118 of them. But that doesn’t make them any less homely. Decked out in cosy fabrics with splashes of colour here and there, this is a branded hotel designed to look anything but.

Each bedroom features a balcony, satellite TV, air-con/heating, safe and hairdryer, plus double or twin beds. You’ll even get a little kitchenette with a microwave and kettle, perfect for a post-club snack, plus the luxury of slippers for cosy toes. And with toiletries provided, you should have space in your case for that extra holiday read after all!

Don’t worry if you can’t cram everything in your luggage. Alanya city centre’s on your doorstep so you should be able to find what you need pretty easily. From clothes to souvenirs, there are all sorts of shops within 1km of Cook’s Club.

Must-dos for your out-and-about list include the medieval castle in the harbour (2.5km away). After taking in the view from the Red Tower, grab a bite to eat at one of the waterfront restaurants. This lovely spot’s also the place to jump aboard some of the area’s best boat trips - how does lunch on a pirate ship sound, or a seafaring adventure to the Green Canyon?

Not got your sea legs? There’s plenty around for landlubbers too! For starters, it’s well worth the hour’s drive to see the Greek and Roman ruins in the awesome resort of Side, and the Manavgat waterfalls nearby.

As for getting to Cook’s Club from Antalya Airport, expect a two-hour drive if you’re hiring a car or taking a private transfer. (Shared transfer times vary depending on the order of drop-offs.)

Feel the Taste

Everything is absolutely wonderful here. It is very satisfying to feel the taste of the food while watching the sunset, accompanied by beautiful music and the attention of the staff. It is a place you must visit and have a good time. music programs can also appeal to all tastes.

Mehmet kaia and Ender Savas at the Beach are the best waiters. The are so nice whit all the customers. Best service. Clear water, shower and toilett at the Beach. Good lunch and drinks in the restaurant

Wonderful couples experience. Chilled club bo-ho vibe. All-inclusive is a must for peace of mind to just chill.

After spotting the hotel on the website “onthebeach.com” we were immediately sold on the bohemian decor, adults only and all inclusive, with a spa and right next to the beach and it didn’t disappoint. All the staff were super friendly, I think we got here just as the season is starting, in fact, I think someone said really it starts in 2 weeks, so they were training new staff and refurbishing a few small bits but it didnt take away from the experience. There is a separate menu for All-inclusive which has enough on it, and the “mama’s kitchen” menu that has traditional Turkish food, and the other chalk board lunch and dinner menus do change each day so there is always a variety, but the all inclusive menu does has some great staples including well cooked pizza, club sandwiches and some other traditional Turkish dishes. The breakfast is probably a little limited for a British person, sausages are “hotdogs” and they only have mass made omelettes for eggs and the rest is fruits and pastries and cereal. We usually wait for the bar to open at 10 and get a toastie or custom omelette with a latte. There is no short supply of things to drink, even on the limited all-Inclusive menu, the cocktails don’t use traditional recipes and sometimes miss the mark, and they can make them a little bit strong sometimes but they’re still mostly enjoyable. The draught beer is apparently Efes, but has a funny taste, we opted for bottled efes most of the time after the first few days but bottled versions cost extra. The red and rose all inclusive wines are very drinkable which was ideal. It’s worth adding the bar staff are super friendly and happy to make friends with you and try and remember your room number, just start chatting and they’ll be your best friend and maybe even give you preferential treatment when ordering. We had spa treatments all week, tenth first day started with a couples package with a Turkish bath and scrubs and massages, and they gave us a little discount on the price which was very appreciated. Then I booked a further 3 medical massages as I had a problem with my shoulders and lower back and by the end of the week I genuinely felt loads better great work by the spa team. The music is very good, it swaps between deep house, disco house and chilled dance music but none of it offensive at all, works very well with the vibe of the hotel. The rooms are good, you can tell they were refurbed with buckets of dark paint and can be quite dark at times with limited light. It’s also worth noting there are 2 parts to the hotel. It’s split with 2 blocks either side of the main road, but joined with a tunnel that runs underground so you might have more of a walk then you realise from your room to the pool, but it’s not that bad. The whole place is very clean and tidy and all the stuff super friendly. Pool is a little cold but very welcome with such hot sun. If you want to venture out the Nordic Garden has super friendly staff, Shisha pipes and honestly, amazing steaks, was a bit skeptical being a foodie , but they “plank” sirloin rare was like butter. Lamb dishes were super nice too. And if you want something a bit more cheap local and traditional “Sirtaki” which is down the main road (right if leaving from the main reception entrance) up a way then back up a side street) they don’t speak the best English but that’s exactly the reason we enjoyed eating there, only locals, traditional Greek food and very cheap compared to the flashy main road restaurants. Was a REALLY great find. All in all, would highly recommend for young people and couples, there were some older couples around and if you don’t mind thumping dance music all day long then would be a good experience for you too. If I ever wanted to come back to Alanya again and could brave the 2-3 hour shuttle bus from the airport again I’d definitely come back!
