Be Live Family Palmeiras Village All-Inclusive 24H

Be Live Family Palmeiras Village is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort, located on the outskirts of the resort of Armação de Pêra, on the Algarve. Relax in the garden area, with its sun terrace and two swimming pools or on one of the two beaches, which are within walking distance. You can also take it easy in the spa with its sauna and Turkish bath.

Energetic guests can enjoy a game of football, volleyball, tennis, basketball or aqua aerobics. Alternatively, join one of the fitness classes or partake in a workout in the gym. For the younger guests, there is a kid's club for children aged 8-12, as well as a mini club for 4-7 year olds.

The resort has four restaurants on-site, with 3 a la carte options, including a pan-Asian which sushi and noodle lovers won't want to miss. The buffet eatery offers both Portuguese and international options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the little guests will have their own selection of dishes to relish. For a mid-afternoon drink or pre-dinner aperitif, there are three bars to choose from, with two by the pool area and one in the lobby, each serving a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. Armação de Pêra has a selection of taverns, restaurants, shops and water parks, all just a short drive or bus journey away.

Standard rooms are equipped with a 32” LCD TV with cable channels, air-con, a hairdryer and a couch (which can also be used as an additional bed.) Upgrade to a Sea View room where you will be able to take pleasure in admiring the beauty of the ocean, relaxing while listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying the calmness of this area of the Algarve. For those with multiple children, Family Suites are available for up to five guests.

The hotel is just 350m from a minimarket, which is right by the local bus stop from where services depart for Portimão, Albufeira and Armação de Pêra. Portimão is the largest town in the western Algarve, which is the ideal place for shoppers. But don't miss the beautiful Azulejo tile paintings in the Jardim 1o de Dezembro, which depict the history of Portugal. The Museu de Portimão is a must for fish lovers as you'll find out all about the town's main industry - sardines. If you're visiting Albuferia the children may twist your arm into taking them on a boat trip to see a different type of sea life - dolphins.

Great 4 night stay!

May 2022 | yvonnec707

Just returned from a 4 night stay with Husband and our 9 year old son. This was our first trip abroad post covid and we were testing the water. Arriving at lunchtime, the room wasn't expected to be ready until 2pm, however we were able to store luggage, access the restaurant, pay deposit on towels and be poolside by mid day. The buffet restaurant had a great selection on offer during all mealtimes. Our 9 year old is a very fussy eater but made great progress with trying so many new foods from the buffet. The children's pool area was perfect, the slides were great fun, although initially cold we soon became accustomed to the temperature of the pool. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, early morning staff were tending to grounds and communal areas, we could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was on the 6th floor with a great view of the pools and sea. The balcony areas are a great size and we were lucky to catch the late afternoon sunshine post beach and pool time. The beach is a short walk away where we took a boat trip one morning to see the spectacular caves, zoo marine was another popular attraction with our son, only a short distance away in a taxi. Hotel is large and took a lot of navigating on the first day, the hotel map provided was not the best. Have euros ready if wishing to place deposits down for beach/pool towels. Our son visited the kids club on one afternoon as friends he had made were attending he really enjoyed the time he spent there. Overall a fantastic stay. My only issue I had was on 2 separate nights there was a visit from an animal attraction where children were given the opportunity to hold parrots, snakes and other reptiles. The photographer charged 10 euros and the lady with the attraction was very abrupt regarding parents not taking photos and purchasing the formal copy, my son would have happily held all the animals but at 10 euros a picture it was getting expensive, my suggestion would be a smaller charge if parents wishing to take own picture.

Long weekend

May 2022 | SC994994

Stays for 4 days, 2 adults 1 child
Pool is frozen and would be nice if children pool was slightly heated, entertainment was boring but might be better on other days. Food was great no complaints about the food or drink.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Receptionist aren’t very friendly And long waits for the wait for reception 20+ minutes on a good day due to lack of staff. All inclusive cocktails are limited to 2 types per day so couldn’t get a specific cocktail just whatever the 2 are that day but nice enough.
Pool bar at the kids pool was seriously under staffed waited 35 min each time for a drink, other pals are too far from the kids pool and up too many stairs to keep going each time.
Snack bar is 24 hours and does toastie, hod dogs and burgers and chips but during the night if you have a late flight the food has been there all day not covered and is frozen and stale but during the day it’s nice. I recommend transfers to faro airport with Algarve Emotion €80 return cheaper than the hotel or any others I could find and very helpful and on time. The kids pool is very far so if travelling with older people like gran parents it can be a bit of a struggle and long walk. Overall food was the best part of the hotel the Long Island ice tea cocktails are also very good but only available one day during my stay.
