Getting to Belfast International is easy by car, bus/coach or taxi. The airport’s just 18 miles northwest of the city.
By car:

• Remember to book your airport parking! Choose between the main car park (ideal for short breaks), long stay (approx 6 minutes’ walk from the terminal), and a secure park & fly option with a free shuttle bus.
• Getting a lift? The drop-off zone and short-stay car park are in front of the terminal. Parking charges start at £3 (correct August 2025; subject to change).
By public transport:
• Translink Airport Express 300 from Belfast, Lisburn or Derry / Londonderry bus terminals.

Belfast City is the closest airport to the city centre, with easy links by bus, train, car and taxi.

What can I take through security at Belfast airport?
New CT airport scanners are up and running at both Belfast International and Belfast City.
This means:
• You can now take laptops and other devices in your hand luggage and cabin bags without removing them at security.
