Sardinia – Weather
Sardinia sits off the coast of Italy in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea and has a lovely and warm climate all year round. The island is blessed with long, hot summers and short, mild winters that differ depending on the varied landscapes. Typically, summer in Sardinia lasts from May through to October with temperatures rising from the high teens and reaching a scorching 30˚C in peak season. Near the coast the heat is cooled by a welcoming sea breeze and the sea is reasonably warm too. Temperatures start to cool in late October with the island’s rain until spring arrives, which has a relatively warm climate lingering in the mid teens and cooler evenings.
