Kalamata – Weather

Kalamata is located in Greece and enjoys a very warm climate with plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The summer begins in April and lasts until October, boasting warm weather and high temperatures throughout the season. In April, the average temperature is around 20°C and climbs to 24°C in May. Temperatures in Kalamata peak in July and August, rising to 31°C, which is great if you want to soak up the warm sun and work on your summer tan. Prevailing winds blow in from the west and curve in to the bay, which results in winds blowing into town from the south instead.
