Amazing family holiday at the Lyra Resort

We have returned from a wonderful family holiday at the Lyra Resort & Spa, We stayed in the Lake House part of the hotel and it was fantastic. We had our own restaurant and bar for the area but could also use the main hotel facilities and the water park. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you especially Ali at the Lake House restaurant and the lady at guest services. The rooms were cleaned daily and mini-bar always restocked. The evening entertainment was the best I have seen in Turkey. The hotel would be suited to families, friends and couples. The food was always fresh and omelettes, pancakes cooked to request in the morning. Always fish and meats cooked outside on the grill in the evening as well as the main dishes in the restaurant. The pontoon and beach area was superb and also great to watch the sun go down in the evening. We had Turkish Hamman and can highly recommend. I would also say a visit to Side and Orfoz restaurant is also a must. Thank you so much for looking after us!

The hotel is amazing. We arrived 3 hours late due to delayed flight. We were greeted in a very friendly way by reception staff and accompanied to our accommodation. The room was excellent but the following day we asked to change which was done with no problem even offered help to move. We stayed in Lake view area which is beautiful. Mustafa in the bar was charming and gave great service, Hasan the waiter was good fun and Mehmet the chef would happily fillet fish for us at mealtimes and offer suggestions. We hope we can return in the future. One small suggestion to the outside part of main restaurant is that 2 person tables could be considered. Only criticism we would have was Turkish ala carte service rather rushed and impersonal

The aircon was not working and everyday when we were going to get some drinks they were running out some of them, or wasn't in the stock. Staff is ok, food is ok but if u wanna have something to drink u need to have more options cuz they don't have everything. Better if they change for 5 to 3 stars rate resort, and check before check in if the aircon is working!!!
