You could easily spend your whole holiday relaxing on Palma Nova’s idyllic beaches. There are three gorgeous, golden beaches that make up Palma Nova’s piece of the coast, each with glistening sands and warm sea waters.
Playa Palma Nova is the one in the centre and is the main beach. It’s a Blue Flag award-winner with a 500 metre stretch of soft, imported sand. The busiest of all three, there’s tonnes going on here. It’s the best place in Palma Nova for water sports, offering fast and thrilling jet skis and water jet rides and pedal boats for leisurely rides out to sea. Or you could simply hire a sunlounger, relax and make the most of the lovely weather.
The two other beaches completely contrast each other. Playa Carreador is a small cove lined with trees, the perfect setting for a bit of peace and quiet. Whilst Son Maties is livelier and has a handful of diving and snorkelling opportunities available and glass-bottomed boat tours. Take a 10 minute walk along the beachfront promenade and you’ll reach Magaluf’s beaches where you’re almost guaranteed something fun and exciting will be going on.
