We stayed here on October 5th for a week. We had a great ground floor apartment. Cannot fault this place. Really comfortable beds. Great shower. Loads of storage. The grounds are beautiful. It was quiet when we went and so we had the choice of sunbeds. Pool is large and very clean. The beach is 5 minutes walk from here. The bus to Rhodes town goes from outside the hotel's slip road. Taxi for 4 was €10 to Rhodes town so for us it was the same cost as the bus. My sister and her husband had a leak in the bathroom and were moved to the next apartment with no fuss. The tavernas around the resort were really good and there was a lot more choice than I thought from previous reviews. We did not get a car, we felt we did not need to as we were wanting to go to places we could get the bus to. We took a boat ride from the local beach to Lindos. All in all I loved the Stavros Melathron Apartments...and would recommend with no hesitation.

We stayed in July, we found the owner Savvas to be extremely helpful and the room and property to be extremely clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of sun loungers for everybody so there was no rush to get up in the morning. Kalithea is nice and quiet, and the property is extremely peaceful. We felt very lucky to have found them online, (the pictures made it look very nice and it turned out they were totally accurate). We would definitely stay again. Thank you Savvas.

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at Stavros Melathron which was absolutely lovely. Studios are simply furnished but all we needed was provided and was kept beautifully clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Savvas had arranged transport from the airport for us and a few basic provisions for us. The pool area was quiet - sometimes felt it was our own private villa! Location had 5-6 family restaurants. The nearby supermarket was expensive. The closest beach was very busy but dominated by guests from the nearby all inclusive hotels. Rhodes is an interesting place - we got the local bus into Rhodes town €2.40 each way. We hired a car for a day to explore the island €40 plus petrol. And we took a boat trip from the nearby beach to Lindos. Home relaxed and refreshed and would definitely recommend! Only suggestions (very minor points) would be more lighting at the communal Bbq area it was too dark for us to use, maybe a microwave in the studio and some uplifting art work in the room would complete the effect!
