Great place for a family holiday

Wonderful place to stay, warm, friendly and hardworking family who own and run the apartments, which were spacious, clean and comfortable. A great base to explore the island and could not ask for more. The town was lovely too, great choice of restaurants and shops with the apartments in walking distance but just far away enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Short drive to some fab beaches.

This is a lovely place to stay in Acharavi very clean but fairly basic. The hill to it is a killer short but steep. This property is probably more suited as a couples quiet holiday place than for families. Owner very pleasant.

So peaceful and relaxing

Me and my wife both in our early thirties had a wonderful 2x week stay at Irene apartments in August 2018. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and Irene was a helpful host and her dad was a lovely man who kept the apartment grounds and pool immaculate whilst always smiling and greeting us. We had a top floor room 14 which had an absolute amazing view over the Acharavi coastline and we would watch the sunset every night on our balcony with a few cold Mythos and Corfu Beer!! Room was cleaned every 2x days by the lovely cleaning ladies and the whole complex itself is spotlessly clean. Apartment had everything you need although we ate out most evenings. The swimming pool and garden was so peaceful and like others have commented depending on the time of day you sometimes have it to your self and it’s never overcrowded. The apartments are located up a hill like many have mentioned but it’s only a small section from the century resort complex which is steep and it only is a slight pain when you arrive carrying your cases from the bottom road but the location is worth the initial sweat fest! We would definetely stay here again and recommend to couples and families with older kids as the apartments have no facilities eg snack bar, kids play area or entertainment which many families with young kids would probably require. We had a lovely chilled out holiday and loved Acharavi and Irene apartments .
