Rosamar & Spa

Rosamar & Spa is an All Inclusive hotel on Spain's Costa Brava. It's a short stroll from the sandy shoreline of Blue Flag beach, Platja Lloret. During your stay, you'll be a short walk from the centre of Lloret de Mar, a classic Spanish holiday destination. This family-friendly hotel overlooks the Balearic Sea. A partial renovation in 2016 gives it an up-to-date feel in the restaurant, bars and bathrooms. Rosamar & Spa has a lively atmosphere with activities for both adults and children. There's a hotel-run kids' club, a games room and a shallow pool for children. While the kids are kept busy, you can sunbathe by the pool or on the adults-only sun terrace which features a heated swimming pool. If you want to take some time out from the sun, you can head to the hotel's spa. Here you can unwind in the Turkish bath and sauna, and book a massage or beauty treatment such as a facial or manicure. As the day draws to a close, you can choose from one of the hotel's restaurants for food and drinks. After dinner, you can enjoy daily family-friendly entertainment and drinks from the hotel bar which will stay open until late.

Staying at Rosamar & Spa means you'll have the restaurants, bars and shops of Lloret de Mar within 300m of the hotel. The resort combines an old town with Gothic-style buildings with energetic bars and clubs. There's also another slightly quieter, beach here which is called Platja de Fenals and is 2.6km from the hotel. For days out, you can head to the nearby water park which is 2.8km from here. Further afield, Barcelona is 79km away. You can shop along the famous Las Ramblas, book an open-top bus tour or catch a game at Camp Nou. You can finish the day with paella along the harbour.

You can choose between different cuisines during your stay. There's a buffet restaurant offering international, Mediterranean and kids' options for all meals. There are also two à la carte restaurants with outdoor seating. If you get peckish throughout the day or night, an Italian-style café serves fresh food and is open 24hrs.

You can rent bikes in the town centre and go riding along the seafront promenade, or book a cycling tour that takes you up into the hills.

The rooms at Rosamar & Spa all have air conditioning, a TV with satellite channels and a safe and kettle at an extra cost.

Sleep Quality

Nice stay in a comfortable hotel

Dec 2021 | Susan S
We were booked to stay in Rosamar Es Blau and were informed just before departure that our hotel had changed to Rosamar & Spa across the road – no reason given by On the beach. Initially we weren’t too happy with this change as our initial hotel was Adult only and this one was not but it was a very quiet and relaxing hotel so we had no issues with noise. The room was lovely with a small balcony. There was no bath or kettle but the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet part of the hotel so we had a nice stay. The restaurant was really busy despite the different slot times. We had a late lunch slot and dinner slot (8.00 pm which was too late for me to have a big meal) and had to queue for a table some days. The service was fast though and the food varied and lovely; good quality at all times. In the mornings they could have done with another coffee machine or two or at least a few separate machines for hot water as you often had to queue for five or ten minutes for a hot drink! There was a thermos with hot water on the side but this was always empty. There is no cold water machine anywhere in the hotel so you have to ask for bottles constantly and they were the small 250ml size so I dread to think how many we went through during our week in the hotel. We ended up going to the supermarket nearby to buy a 5 litre bottle to take to the room. A few water machines around the hotel would be much better for the environment. The hotel offers a packed lunch if you’re going out if you have all inclusive. This lunch consisted of some food best eaten hot (rice and a burger of some kind with bread slices) but also a ham sandwich, a yoghurt, an apple, biscuits and a bottle of water. I think a cheese roll and a pastry would have been better than the rice and burger but at least it was a generous packed lunch. The pool areas are very nice and relaxing and we had no issues getting a sun lounger. Service at the pool bar was efficient with friendly staff. We found all the staff working in the reception and restaurants friendly and helpful. The gym is really nice and not busy. On some days it was unbearably hot though. We didn’t use the indoor pool or spa facilities but these seemed popular with other guests. To sum up I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again, although not during the busy season.

Best Hotel in Lloret de Mar!!!!!

My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful hotel. We visited Lloret de Mar many times and stayed in different hotels. This past October we chose Hotel Rosamar and Spa and we were very happy with this decision. The location is perfect about 2 minutes to lovely beach. the size of the room is a bit small but very clean and has a nice balcony. the food was amazing lots of fresh fish seafood fruits vegetables . A big thanks to the cooks in the kitchen and the restaurant staff. food was delicious. The dinning room staff was very nice and polite. The reception staff were very friendly and a special thanks to Valentina!!! She is amazing very professional and always very helpful. We had a great time at this hotel. We will definitely come back.

Clean, nice but not welcoming

Initially my daughter and I were given a room overlooking a service alley with a view of a disused pool belonging to the apartment block next door. We were happy enough, although not overly enthused. The facilities were okay, but my child wasn't permitted to use the gym or the sauna - understandable as our operator was On The Beach and they relocated us twice before giving us a hotel entirely unsuitable for children (but that's another story!) Having heard around the pool that people were being moved from their original rooms on request, being that their views were rubbish and the hotel had rooms to spare, the lady on reception was kind enough to move us to a far superior room with a sea view. Obviously we were thrilled. The best part of this holiday was the KIDS' CLUB. Lluis was an absolute genius with the children. He was patient, funny and completely engaging. I only wish I'd been a kid again myself! Furthermore on one occasion he also hosted the bingo in the evening and was a totally brilliant entertainer - and he managed to communicate with everyone there - in 3 blummin languages! The man is an utter legend. The restaurant staff were quite abrupt and more coffee/tea machines are needed for the mornings. Come to mention it, those facilities were also lacking in the rooms. Oh and the Yelka at the snack bar by the pool was lovely too.
