Tamaragua

Tamaragua is a family-friendly apartment hotel. It's on the south coast of the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, which is best known for its popular beaches and volcanic landscapes. The hotel is just outside the resort of Playa del InglËs. It overlooks the sea and is within walking distance of the beach, which can be reached via steps from the hotel. The Yumbo Centrum shopping centre, with its lively nightlife scene, is a short stroll away from the hotel. At Tamaragua, the interiors are typically Mediterranean, with whitewashed walls and classical-inspired architectural features. The hotel has an outdoor area with a sun terrace, a main pool that's heated during the colder months, and a shallow pool for children. There's a combined bar and restaurant with outdoor seating. If you're cooking your own meals in your apartment, you can make use of the hotel's small mini market for picking up groceries and other essentials. The building is surrounded by gardens that are dotted with tropical trees and plants. There's a 24hrs reception at the hotel, where you can make enquiries and get recommendations on things to do in the local area. Wi-Fi is available in all of the apartments and public areas of the hotel.

Tamaragua is in a lively area of Playa del InglËs. The hotel is 400m from the Kasbah shopping centre, which has bars and restaurants as well as shops. The larger Yumbo Centrum shopping centre is 500m away. There are more than 200 shops, bars, cafÈs and restaurants for you to enjoy here, and when night falls its nightclubs and bars come alive. The nearest sandy beach, Playa del InglËs, is 600m from the hotel. Here, you can swim or walk along the bustling promenade. For a day trip, you can travel 58km to the city of Las Palmas. Here, you can visit a museum dedicated to Christopher Columbus.

At Tamaragua, there's a combined restaurant and bar with opening hours that vary during the year. Between April to October, it's open as a bar only. If you'd prefer to stay in your apartment, you can prepare dinner in your kitchenette, which has cooking facilities including a fridge and an oven.

In the daytime, you can play a game of tennis or get competitive at the pool table. You can also take a walk through the hotel's garden.
