Great stay
Just returned from a 7 day stay at the hotel and what a great time we had . Hotel is spotless and so are the rooms stayed on the 4th floor and the room was peaceful and cleaned everyday rooms are lovely and large . We did half board and can honestly say there is something for everybody breakfast and evening meal was lovely . Pool area is also spotlessly clean and when we was there you could get a sunbed but there was the few that had towels on but no one ever came to lie on them even though the policy is no sunbeds reserved. Hotel is in a fantastic spot with bars , restaurants and the beach all within 5 mins walk . All in all a great hotel which me and my partner will be returning too .
Amazing !!
Travelled with 7 friends for a girly get away . The rooms are amazing , very large and modern . Whole hotel is sparkly clean . Staff are lovely , especially Mike , who does the entertaining . Works endless hours and tries to get everyone involved . Food really good , especially breakfast . Don’t believe bad reviews on food . If u can’t find anything to suit u , u need to cook in the room !!! Pool area really lovely , and a sun trap . Again , kept super clean . Location wise , u couldn’t get better . Literally 1 minute walk to strip , and main shopping area , and hundreds of restaurants . Beach less than 5 minutes walk . Already looking to book for next year . Couldn’t fault anything at all
Large, Modern, Clean Hotel in perfect location.
My husband and I stayed here for 1 week all inclusive. OUR ARRIVAL was after 9pm at night, check in was quick & hassle free. We did find, we were walking in circles looking for our room, but we got there in the end, we were given a map, which is easy to read when you know the area. THE LOCATION of the hotel is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of the restaurant’s & shops, less than 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach. OUR ROOM was a ground floor pool view, which was perfect. The room was lovely, it was large, modern & clean, the living room has a large tv, the large kitchenette has everything you would need if staying self catering. Just a wee tip on finding the full length mirror… it’s in the bedroom, behind the door!! Lol The bedroom has two large wardrobes for storage with a safe. The bathroom is a good size with plenty of space to set toiletries. The shower has good pressure and warm at all times. There are so many plug sockets which was brilliant, usually we are fighting over plug access on holidays, but these rooms have them everywhere! The balcony was large, with two sun loungers and a table with 4 chairs & still lots of space. THE POOL AREA and surrounding areas are kept spotless, the staff work constantly from very early to very late cleaning all areas. The pool is NOT cold, it is beautiful! There are plenty of beds to choose from around the pool, just be careful with the sun loungers, some of them lift in the middle when you move to get up, but snap back down again, my husband and I both caught our fingers, ouch!!! I would worry about little ones fingers. There is a couple of terrace areas at the back & either of the poolside bar. There are also a couple of roof top areas with sun loungers, I think it was on floor 2 or 3. The lifeguard was friendly & great with the kids. DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT was good with the usual holiday games, darts, pool, table tennis, water aerobics etc. They also had a couple of water inflatable games, which looked fun. Mike was a lovely guy, very friendly and continually trying to get people involved, but ‘not’ in a pushy way, he worked very hard, he gets 5* from us. On the days Mike was off, the entertainment wasn’t as good, his personality and energy was what made it. Having a sun canopy over the pool table and table tennis table, I think would be beneficial as it’s so hot up there & guests might be more inclined to go up to play the tournaments if there is a bit of shade. The metal step that connects this area to the stage gets dangerously hot, my husband & another guest both stood on it and burnt their feet while up playing the table tennis tournament EVENING ENTERTAINMENT is never our thing on holiday, so we didn’t watch it here. BAR & RESTAURANT staff were all friendly, Thomas & David were very nice, Thomas looks quite grumpy, but he works very hard and was helpful & pleasant when we needed advice, so NOT grumpy at all, they get 5* from us also. There was another guy who worked in the restaurant and bar that was very friendly & helpful, sorry just can’t remember his name. DRINKS were good, pouring your own from a pump, you don’t have long waiting times with this option, we preferred this. There is a nack to pouring the beer without it foaming up, but no big deal, it just takes ‘a few seconds more than usual to let it settle if you don’t get the hang of it straight away, my hubby had it down to a ‘T’ . The soft drinks such as Pepsi & lemonade also do foam very slightly, but it’s about 3 seconds and it settles again I don’t understand why anyone would have an issue regarding this, it’s literally seconds. My husband drinks alcohol free beer and he was well pleased when it was available with all inclusive as we were told by email before arriving, that it wasn’t included, wee bonus for him! Cocktails have a large menu to select from along with local spirits & cocktails are made freshly. Thomas’ Pina Coladas were the best, I guess he has lots of experience under his belt! ☺️ FOOD was ok… we have had better, but also had worse, you will find something to eat & you wont starve. Thursday night barbecue was lovely! As much as I don’t want to be too negative, but I do think the hotel need to monitor the temperature of the food in the main restaurant as it was never warm never mind hot unless you were getting freshly cooked meat. We did eat as soon as the restaurant opened one evening and it was the same, not very warm at all. Another big issue was the lady cooking the eggs in the morning, they were still raw, as in clear egg white, not just runny yoke, this definitely needs checking. We would love to return to the hotel, but we would prefer self catering because there are so many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We did price to stay next year but it is an expensive holiday for a March holiday break only staying self catering.
