Stayed here for a short 4 night break in the first week in March. Have to say for an official 2* property it exceeded any expectations I had. Bungalows look to have been updated. Spotlessly clean. Great size lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, with great walk in showers. Fresh towels and bedding every other day. Every bungalow has its own private terrace, with sunbeds, table, chairs and a wonderful view of maspalomas and the sea. Pool , bar, restaurant area is really nice. New sunbeds, and plenty of them. Half the pool is heated. Food, while very limited is well cooked and decent quality. There is an entertainer on 4 nights a week of which we didn't see so can't really comment on her. Vista oasis is on the outskirts of sonnenland/maspalomas , up a steep hill , in a residential area so not ideally placed for walks or shopping etc. There is a big spar shop 2 mns up the road for essentials. Overall its more than worth the money and makes for a great cheap base if exploring the island by car, or just chilling out for a bit of sun, but a bit out of the way and a bit small, for what i would think for a main family holiday.

Good value 2 star accommodation

Have just returned for a 7 night stay at this accommodation and found it to be excellent value for the money we paid for an all-inclusive break. The bungalow we were given had a large balcony overlooking the valley below and then sand dunes. It was bright and clean with a modern bathroom and a kitchenette. The buffet is perhaps a little limited however, there was always something that we could eat and the variety in the food was good. There is a microwave if you want to heat up the food further, which I did from time to time. The drinks are good and the wine and beer were quite pleasant. A slight niggle is that the fruit juice machine for breakfast is not good and the juices are very sweet and we could not drink them. Yes, this accommodation is in a quiet residential area a little off the beaten track, however that is what we wanted and a taxi to anywhere nearby will not cost you more than €7. The courtesy bus to the beach is very hand.

Acceptable for 2 star except for the appalling food.

Stayed here end of Jan 2023 for a week. First the good part. The accommodation, although basic, is clean and serviceable. Makes for a good base to go from. There is a beach shuttle bus which goes at 10.30 and 11.30 every day and returns ar 14.00 and 15.30. Alternatively a taxi is €5. Local buses are great but you must wear a mask. There is a nice pool, half of which is heated. Plenty of space to lounge around. Area is kept clean. Then there's the food. Vegetarians - do not stay here. There's nothing for you unless you're ok with basic salad and fruit all week. Actually the fruit is lovely. Fortunately I eat fish and the tuna salad is OK. Everything else is dire. Leftovers from the days before are topped up each day with fresh - even spaghetti which has the dried out spaghetti from previous days. I know it's 2 star but it takes some effort to produce such bad food. Tasteless and sometimes inedible. On 2 occasions I gave up and tipped my whole meal in the bid and resorted to chips, which are OK. So unless you have long covid and can't taste anything, or if you eat crap at home, then don't come here.
