    Sidari weather January

What’s the weather like in Sidari in January?

A fantastic break to Corfu in the New Year will let you escape the winter of northern Europe and soak up some famous Greek sunshine. The Sidari weather in January will see temperatures in the low teens and even the light showers won’t spoil your stay.

    Geographical influences

The pretty Ionian island of Corfu is the most north-westerly part of Greece. Because of its location, Sidari has a slightly colder and wetter climate in winter months like December than other Greek islands to the south. The wet but mild climate helps to turn much of the countryside a bright green.

The weather in Sidari in January remains mild, with an average high temperature of 13°C. The resort can reach a low of 6°C on some colder days. Even though the rainfall will be around 45mm, with about half of January’s days getting some wet weather, the showers usually pass quite quickly. Sunshine keeps breaking up any cloud, with six hours on average in Sidari during January. At 15°C, the sea temperature may be too low for some visitors to take a dip in the water. The winds are moderate at 10mph so you can happily take a stroll along the beach or promenade in winter.
