The beaches

Lindos is home to some of Rhodes’ most beautiful beaches and it’s easy to see why they’re so popular with both the locals and tourists.

Palla Beach has a long stretch of golden sand and turquoise sea with plenty of sunloungers and parasols, so you could easily spend a day relaxing here. A glass bottom boat sets sail from here and it’ll take you for a ride to Pefkos. Kids will love being able to see out of the bottom of the boat; the sea waters are so clear that they’ll have unobstructed views of all the fish swimming along underneath. The boat ride also gives you a chance to see some of the amazing views along the coastline of Rhodes Island.

St Paul’s Bay is easily one of the most romantic and peaceful spots in Lindos. Stand at the top of the rocks for picturesque views that stretch out to azure blue seas below. There’s also a chapel, so if you’re looking for somewhere to get married, this stunning location would provide a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The actual beach itself is small but sandy with lagoon-style crystal clear waters that make it the perfect beach for scuba diving, as it’s also home to colourful marine life.
