Luxurious and sophisticated

During our stays at this stunning hotel, we have experienced outstanding customer service. Every staff member we encountered (front desk, valet, pool service, room service etc) was absolutely mannerly and attentive. I really enjoyed my times in this elegant hotel, it got a lot to offer. Interior looks luxurious and sophisticated . The room had a balcony with beautiful sea view, king size bed and good, clean bathroom. I will trully recommend it.

Amazing Hotel and Staff

Jan 2022 | JJF808
Myself and my (now fiancé) stayed her in September and cant recommend this enough. the friendly staff make this hotel and I must thank them for their hospitality The only reason it hasnt got 5 stars is the hotel still had building works going on. No doubt itll be 5 stars when the hotel is complete. I decided to propose to my GF during my stay at this hotel and I decided to contact teh staff relations team to help me organise this. I spoke to the wonderful Katerina who helped me arrange a meal in the restaurant on the day i would propose. And also arranged for flowers and champagne to be placed in the room after I proposed aswell arranging for a massage and spa treatment for myself and my fiancé . She was amazing and helpful during my stay, Id also like to mention Aris, Artemis and George in the restaurant who remembered that we liked two lattes in the morning. The hotel is 10 minute drive to lindos, and there are always taxis available. There are also plenty of places to hire a car. The breakfast is amazing, and the rooftop restaurant is too. We chose mainly to eat in Lindos most nights and so cant comment on the main restaurant buffet. All in all an amazing stay and we will return

Thinking of booking? Don’t. Disappointing honeymoon!

Nov 2021 | Zee2920
We booked the Lindos Grand for our honeymoon and from the website, description and photos we were really excited. This hotel is not a 5 star, it’s a glorified 3 star at best which survives by its infinity pool which is the best thing there. Firstly the rooms are not as described we paid extra for a sea view we got a 10% sea view, 50% land view and 40% of the back of other rooms. By the aircon unit and bins which smelt and was noisy which meant we never sat on the balcony. We complained straight away and were told we would have to come back every morning to see if a room came available after the second day another room came available and it was no better view wise. Your rooms should not all be the same cost for sea view, yes they face the sea direction wise but a good 50% of them do not have the view promised. We spoke to a couple of other guests around the pool who were equally disappointed. Next, THERE IS NO SPA OR GYM! This is the main reason we booked this hotel, and it did not exist. You had to be taken up a hill to a sister hotel where the gym air conditioning didn’t even work and the gym was smaller than our room. The spa wasn’t in working order no facilities ie pool, you could book a massage which we were gifted by our bridesmaids but the whole experience again shocking. Gave up after day 2 because it was such an effort to ask at reception to be taken there. It’s a joke they even advertise it. Third, the breakfast was luke warm every morning, even in the heated dishes by the time you sat down, cold. Fourth, the hotel is unfinished, it is a building site in places, there are work men constantly wandering around. The noise from the works makes it so unpeaceful and the surrounding areas are a dump. Fifth, the pool area is half filled with metal sunbeds in 37 degrees heat this is a health and safety issue. You can scold yourself on them in seconds. Guest from the sister hotel are also welcome to come in and use the pool, there is barely enough sunbeds as it is! We also had kids in the pool on 2 occasions despite advertising as adults only. For a ‘five star’ hotel, there is no shuttle to Lindos and it’s 12 euros in a taxi each way. These are the facilities we were advertised but do not exist: Gym - No gym on site - use run down facilties at hotel up the road required to get transport through a building site to get to it Sauna - No sauna Spa - No spa Massage - Only available at sister hotel Beauty Salon - does not exist Airport Shuttle - does not exist Located on a main street - no where near a main street Shop(s) - no shops anywhere near Aerobics - does not exist Aqua fit - does not exist Private beach area - this beach is not private nor adults only. There were loads of extra niggles but honestly I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Yes we complained whilst we were there, the hotel manager (who will no doubt reply to this with some poor excuses and how sorry they are we didn’t enjoy our stay same old) did address it by wiping the extras round the pool we had eaten/drank. For what we paid for the 11 nights we were there and the fact it completely ruined our honeymoon it just wasn’t enough. We have since complained to Thomas Cook (do not book through them either, shocking service and support) and we are now in the process of taking legal action to recoup some compensation, we paid for a 5 star peak time holiday and the price was eye watering. I would genuinely look at other hotels in the area, there are plenty of others that do live up to expectations
