I can’t believe it’s that time of year again. Wimbledon’s on the horizon, which means long, sunny days on the tennis courts for the circuit’s stars, and hopefully long, sunny days on Henman Hill (enjoying strawberries and cream) for some of us! Although I’ve only ever watched it through a screen, I think Wimbledon’s one of my favourite sporting events. There’s just something about all those famous faces, crisp tennis whites and some good old fashioned British pride.
If you were thinking about experiencing the live atmosphere one day, you might be surprised to know that there’s still chance to watch the likes of Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic this year. Over at Thomas Cook Sport, there are still plenty of tickets going to catch some of the year’s biggest games. There are all kinds of incredible extras too. At the Courtside restaurant you can enjoy a delicious three-course lunch menu, or a traditional afternoon tea if that’s more up your street. Or there’s the exclusive Champions Room restaurant, boasting the best in service, fine dining and a complimentary bar.
