Going on holiday doesn’t always have to mean stepping on a plane. It’s often easy to forget just how many beautiful landmarks and fun-filled attractions we have on our front door step, right here in the UK.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love, love, love jumping on a plane and going on holiday to a new and exciting destination as often as I can. But it would seem that I’m one of the two thirds of Brits who, as well as going overseas, will book an additional holiday in the UK too. (In fact, I’m very much looking forward to some time off in Cornwall next week – my absolute favourite place in the UK!)
As part of Visit England’s 2015 GREAT 4 campaign, their mascot Shaun the Sheep has been busy taking selfies around various famous landmarks and attractions in the UK, demonstrating exactly why holidays at home are GREAT.
I want to know how many of the landmarks in Shaun’s selfies you can identify. Who can correctly guess them all? Check them out below and then give me your guesses in the comments at the bottom of the post. Why not attach your favourite UK holiday selfie too?
