ATOL protected for peace of mind
ATOL, or the Air Travel Organiser’s Licence, is there so your payment for any package holiday booked with Thomas Cook is financially protected by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Our own package holidays are protected under ATOL number 1179. City Breaks are protected under ATOL number 5788. This means if anything goes wrong, you won’t be without your money for long and you won’t be stranded abroad.
Our holidays are ABTA protected. ABTA’s scheme covers non-flight based holidays, linked travel arrangements and travel agents. ABTA ensures that all of its members properly protect their package holidays, as required by law.

If something in your hotel doesn’t live up to our description, we’ll take care of it within 24-hours. If we can’t fix it, we’ll send you a voucher for 25% of what you paid for your holiday, or we’ll fly you home and refund the cost of your trip. Look out for our 24-Hour Hotel Satisfaction Promise logo on selected holidays where the Promise applies.
