My idea of a good holiday’s completely changed since I had kids. You know how it is, so much of your energy goes into getting them organised, fed and entertained that you forget to pack your favourite bikini and start to class the hotel mini-disco as a big night out. So, I want to tell you how our kids’ club holidays can help you to get a bit of you back (yes, really!).
All our hotels with kids’ clubs are geared up to keep the whole family happy all holiday long, so you can be sure you’ll find something to do while your kids are busy playing games and making holiday BFFs. Whether you’re into spas, sports or splashing about in the pool, I know you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for; just check out the description of each hotel for details of what’s available there.
Not sure where to start? Here are some of my top recommendations for your next family holiday.
For those who can’t sit still
Don’t want to miss your work-out? You’ll find a range of fitness and sports activities at our SunConnect Resorts, including SunConnect Los Delfines in Menorca. While the kids are enjoying themselves at the Lollo & Bernie Kids’ Club or in the Teen Chill-out Area, it’s the perfect time for you to make the most of the gym, or join in a game of football, an aerobics class or a French bowls tournament.
For chill-out time
Just look at the photos of our newest Casa Cook hotel in Crete and you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s not meant for families. The truth is, though, the sophisticated style of Casa Cook Chania goes hand in hand with some fantastic stuff for kids to do at our all-new alternative kids’ club. They could even go camping! And as for you, how about a massage, some yoga or a few drinks at the Beach Club? Try it for yourself when Casa Cook Chania opens this summer.
For new experiences
There are lots of things that make holidays at our SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts extra special, and one of the best is the amazing range of Holiday Plus Activities. Choose one of our most family-friendly SENTIDO holidays, such as SENTIDO Louis Plagos Beach, and your kids could be having a whale of a time at the hotel’s own kids’ club while you do something like learning how to cook a tasty local dish. Or you could just stretch out by the pool, of course.
For those with teenagers
My favourite tip for families of all ages (and I mean all!) is simply this: Sunwing Family Resorts. They’re amazing! Why am I so enthusiastic? Well, for one thing, older kids can hide out with games consoles, pizza nights and others their own age at the Teen Lounge, such as the one at Sunwing Arguineguin Seafront. You can then spend your free time in Lollo & Bernie’s Mini Land with your younger children, pound out any tension along the hotel’s running trails, or check into the spa for a pampering.
