Europe, like the rest of the world has a lot of amazing scenery that would take your breath away. Many people around the world search high and low for these views, but I bet you didn’t think these European destinations would have such jaw-dropping scenery.
If you’re looking for rolling hills and clear blue waters then look no further than the Turkish resort of Marmaris. Located in a sheltered bay surrounded by natural beauty. My favourite way to take it all in is on the moonlight cruise where you set off just before sunset and enjoy a meal whilst taking in the sights of the Turkish coastline. Once the sun has set you can tuck into some traditional cuisine and entertainment.
Whether you’re lead on the beach soaking up all of that amazing Mediterranean sun, or you’re hiking in the Tramuntana Mountains, there is always a beautiful sight on the island of Majorca. From the summit of the mountain range you can see out across the Bay of Alcudia as well as the Bay of Pollensa. The lush green forest that covers the area really makes it such a stunning place to be especially at dusk or dawn. Down on the beaches you’ll find soft, golden sands and calm waters gently lapping against the shore, there aren’t many places in the world you’ll find so relaxing.
Known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, Dubrovnik is a beautiful walled city on the coast of Croatia. The turquoise waters and rocky cliffs combine to create some of the most dramatic coastline in Europe. However if you want to get a real feel for this beautiful location you’ll have to travel up the mountain; watching the sun set in the distance in the small amphitheatre should definitely be on your ‘to-do’ list.
