No, thank you

The island boasts secluded bays, sandy beaches, grand churches, picturesque villages and impressive architecture meaning that you’re sure to have some incredible backdrops for your photographs of your big day. Malta has a strong British influence, so you will feel at home straight away.

Malta weddings are civil ceremonies and the place to get married is the Palazzo Parisio, which is an awesome, ornate 18th century venue. If you get married here, you can stay at any Maltese hotel that you choose. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a hotel wedding, you can tie the knot at the Seabank or Phoenicia Hotel.

We have a number of finishing touches that you can add to your wedding arrangements to make them all the more memorable. You can add anything from a photographer to hair and make-up or you could really splash out and add a vintage car to your wedding package to take you to and from the ceremony.

Best time to go

Malta tends to be warm and sunny all year round, but can get incredibly hot and humid throughout the months of July and August, so that’s worth taking note if you don’t want to be too hot an uncomfortable in your wedding outfits. The winter months are cooler, but are usually still very pleasant.

Essential information

It is crucial that Maltese authorities receive your documents at least two months before your wedding as they are very strict on deadlines. There is also a minimum residency requirement of two working days. Couples opting for a hotel wedding must be residents at that particular hotel.

Insider knowledge

Malta is a true Mediterranean gem and aside from the great culture and architecture, the country’s increasingly popular reputation as a gourmet’s delight will ensure the memories of your big day will last forever. The incredible Palazzo Parisio is our favourite location on the island.
