Imagine this, you have just tied the knot and now the first thing you can do as husband and wife is take a romantic, barefoot walk along part of the 300 miles of soft white sand. What could be better than that? The Dominican Republic is such an idyllic location to share the big day with the love of your life and your nearest and dearest.
The best time to head to the Dominican Republic is between November and April as this is less likely to be too humid, but will still be warm, sunny and beautiful. The hurricane season tends to be between June and September, so it is best to avoid booking for this time of year.
The Dominican Republic doesn’t have a minimum residency requirement however, all your documentation does need to have been processed before your ceremony can take place. For this reason, we suggest that you arrive around five working days before your wedding day.
If you choose to get married in the Dominican Republic, you can expect to enjoy a relaxing and laid-back experience. Everything will just naturally fall into place and you can just enjoy the chilled out vibe and concentrate on making the most of the best day of your life.
