Nerja Waterpark Spain
If you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids or you’re a big kid seeking thrills of your own, Nerja is lucky to be in close distance to two water parks.
Aquatropics is in Almuñecar and is approximately 30 minutes away by car. Spain’s only salt water water park offers all the classic waterslides from Kamikazes and racer slides and attractions like the wave pool and the children’s Water Tower. One of the more unique rides is ‘El Torbellino’ – a big ‘bowl’ style slide where you will slide round the bowl until you are shot out the bottom into the waters below. As well as all the rides and attractions there’s also a playground with trampolines and a bouncy castle as well as various games to keep your little ones entertained.
You’ll find the other water park, Aquavelis, in Torre del Mar approximately 25 minutes away by car. Thrill seekers will love the 80 metre Kamikaze slides and the fast Multipistas. There are also two lake-style pools if you just want to chill out and have a relaxing swim. One of its newest attractions is Aqua Splash II, a fun water playground where children can run around under buckets of pouring water, fire water pistols and of course whizz down the slides.
