Ran into Snow as we pulled in and was welcomed with a huge smile and was directed where we needed to go for check in and at that point made sure luggage was stored and introduced us to De Andrea for check in. After we got to our room went down to bar where we ran into Snow again and vibes out and he reminded us about diamond club where we met Marketa who was also amazing and then met Ivan who also took care of us. After all introductions Snow came back to check on us where we were and instantly knew we chose the right place to stay.

Snow from the Vibe Team was extremely pleasant and helpful during our stay. Definitely recommend choosing this as your wedding or vacation site. Had so much fun from the time we stepped onto the resort to departure.

We (myself and two adult children) have just retuned from a week at the Royalton White Sands and to our relief our stay proved to be good. I think it is fair to say that, after reading some terrible reviews, we were all very apprehensive about the complex, we looked at changing properties but as this was booked as a package the change would have cost us the total cost of the holiday - this was not feasible and so we continued, although with significant worries, these proved to be unnecessary although there was one niggle that would not go way... read on. On arrival the check in process was very organised, although we were not aware until check in that a 200USD deposit is required for each room - no hardship but it would have been good to know beforehand. We asked for adjoining rooms and these were provided. The rooms themselves are tired to say the least but they are clean. We were advised that some of the rooms are being refurbished next year and in honesty they would benefit from this. Both shower rooms were clean and the showers worked perfectly. Now, the niggle... we paid and upgraded each of our rooms to a balcony with sea view, the sea view was questionable for both rooms although the sea was visible over the palm trees. One of our rooms had a faulty patio door (this is the niggle), the door did not shut/ close too properly meaning that the air conditioning would not function. We reported this to reception on four separate occasions during our week's stay, each time the issue was sorted very quickly but on opening the sliding doors again the problem reoccurred, in essence the faulty sliding doors were not fixed properly, each time the fix was just so the air conditioning worked. We were offered a room change but this was two days before we were due to come home and so this offer was pretty pointless after half the holiday had gone. In the end we decided to choose air con or balcony and sacrifice stepping outside - air con won making our upgraded room a bit of a waste of money! The public areas were faultless, the pool area is clean, in fact the pool attendants could be seen cleaning the pools several times throughout the day. The beach was also cleaned of sea weed and any other sea born debris each morning and again throughout the day. I did read one amusing review from someone who grumbled about the amount of seaweed - it's in the sea and there is nothing that can be done about it! We tried a few of the a la carte restaurants as well as the beach hut for Jerk chicken and the buffet - all very very good. In short, we had a good holiday if blighted by a broken patio/ sliding door. Would we go back? Yes, but after the renovation.
