Bodrum

Bodrum is on the south west coast of Turkey and has a very warm and sunny climate all year round. If you want to enjoy as much heat as possible on holiday, the best time to go to Bodrum is in the summer.

Temperatures in high season reach over 30°C, which is ideal for relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun beneath a swaying palm tree.

For cooler temperatures, the best time to visit Bodrum is in autumn. October has an average temperature of 21°C that lowers to 16°C in November, which is mild and great for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

The Mediterranean Sea is usually very mild at around 24°C in high season. The temperature gradually decreases throughout autumn and is too cold for swimming by the time winter arrives.

Each day has an average of ten hours of sunshine. When winter ends, the days begin to get longer and you can expect 12 hours of sunlight per day in spring and 14 in the summer.
