What's the weather like in Hersonissos in May?

In May, temperatures are rising as spring comes to an end, while there’s less and less rain as the month goes on. The average temperature in Hersonissos at this time of year’s 18ºC, rising to a high of 22ºC in the peak of the afternoon. It’s warm enough to spend time on the beach during the day, although it’s a good idea to bring a jumper or cardigan for evenings out, as temperatures fall to 14ºC at night. Just 20mm of rain’s forecast over four days in May, so there isn’t much chance of wet weather. If you want to go for a swim in the sea, the water’s a mild 19ºC this month.
