Because of its enticing charm, Rethymnon is a popular resort with holidaymakers. One of its biggest attractions is the Venetian Harbour, considered to be the most beautiful harbour in all of Crete.

Walk just a few short minutes from the Old Town and you'll find yourself surrounded by classic Venetian townhouses, whilst being spoilt for choice with the many cafés, tarvernas, restaurants and bars that you'll find along the way.

From the harbour, you're in the perfect spot to explore the other great attractions in town, such as the Venetian Lighthouse and the sandy beach, which is located just to the east.
