Getting around Santa Ponsa

By bus: There’s a regular bus service that runs around the resort every 30 minutes or so. You can also take the bus to nearby towns and resorts, such as the island’s capital, Palma de Majorca, which is just 20 minutes away.

By taxi: There are always taxis around the town centre if you need to hop in for a one-off journey. You should try and agree your fare first. You can also book taxis in advance for airport transfers.

By bike: Santa Ponsa isn’t too big, so it’s easy and fun to get around on two wheels. There are a number of hire shops for you to get hold of a bike for a day or two.

Spring Fair: If your Santa Ponsa holiday is in April, then visit the neighbouring picturesque town of Andratx and explore its annual Spring Fair. It’s a popular agricultural event, featuring arts and crafts stalls, livestock competitions, plenty of live music, good food and lots for the kids to enjoy too.

Night of Fire: Head to the capital city of Palma and join in its annual Nit de Foc (Night of Fire) celebrations. It’s only 20 minutes away and is a festival full of thrilling fireworks, bonfires and street parties all throughout the town.
