Paradise Beach Thassos Greece

If you had to pick one beach to visit on the Greek island of Thassos, this would be it! Paradise Beach Thassos gets its name from the pristine sands and exotic forestry overlooking it. In fact, many visitors to this beach often think the scenery here resembles the tropics, and not Europe.

One of Greece's most beautiful beaches

Because it's so vast, Paradise Beach Thassos Greece is usually not particularly busy, so you'll have plenty of space to unwind. The combination of emerald sea, bright sand, and lush green forests makes the perfect background for your holiday photos.

The sea is also very shallow, which means it's well suited to inexperienced swimmers and small children. Have a dip and see the glittering shoals of fish in the crystal-clear waters, or feel free to soak up the sun on a deck chair or a sunlounger. If you're prepared to wake up early one morning, you can see a spectacular sunrise from Paradise Beach.

The best time to visit Paradise Beach

If you've got your heart set on a long lazy day on the beach with some paddling or swimming sessions, the best time to come here is from around late June to early September. During this time, daytime temperatures typically reach the higher 20s℃, and the water temperature peaks at about 25℃ by August.

It's also pleasantly warm in Paradise Beach Thassos Greece in late spring and early autumn, although because of Thassos' more northerly latitude, winters on the island can be quite chilly and rainy, especially compared to the Greek islands further south.

Facilities at Paradise Beach

The beach is next to three parking areas and also includes table boards and a beach volley court where you can challenge your family or friends to a game. Whenever you're hungry, head to one of the tavernas for some lunch or a coffee to re-energise yourself.
