What's the weather like in Playa Blanca in December?
Playa Blanca is one of the most popular beach resorts on Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North Africa, the resort has a subtropical climate with warm, sunny weather all year round. Temperatures in December are lower than the summer months, but it’s still lovely and mild at this time of year. This is a good month to visit if you want some festive sun without travelling too far from the UK.Averages
In December, the average temperature in Playa Blanca is a warm 18°C, with highs of 22°C in the peak of the afternoon. The days are pleasant enough for t-shirts, while you’ll need a few warmer layers for the evenings as temperatures dip to an average low of 16°C at night. Around 35mm of rain’s expected in December, but with just eight wet days predicted there’s only a small chance of showers at this time of year. If you want to swim in the sea, the Atlantic waters measure 20°C.
