What’s the weather like in Playa Blanca in March?
Located on the south coast of Lanzarote, the popular resort town of Playa Blanca has a subtropical climate with mild temperatures all year round and plenty of sunshine. The island is in the Atlantic Ocean off the North African coast, and at this time of year has warm weather during the day. If you like things quieter and don’t mind slightly cooler temperatures, March is a great month to visit Playa Blanca.
In March, the average temperature in Playa Blanca is a mild 18°C, with highs of 22°C in the peak of the afternoon. After dark, the temperature drops to a low of 15°C, so you might need a cardigan or jacket for evenings out at the local restaurants and bars. Just 10mm of rain is expected over the course of the month, so March is generally very dry and sunny. The sea’s still a cool 18°C at this time of year, but you can still go swimming if you’re feeling brave.
