What’s the weather like in Kefalonia in January?
The Kefalonia weather in January is generally at its coldest with low temperatures at night and a good deal of rainfall. You’ll need to pack warm layers and a waterproof jacket for your holiday to Kefalonia at this rather damp and cool time of year.
Geographical influences
The Ionian Island of Kefalonia is located west of mainland Greece. It’s known for its rocky landscapes and golden, sandy coves along its stunning coastline. The island has a typical Mediterranean climate with wet winters. Temperatures are quite mild during the day but it can get very cold overnight, so you’ll need a jacket for any evening activities you’ve planned.
