    Elounda is a popular holiday destination in Crete, boasting warm weather and long days filled with sunshine and clear skies throughout the year. Elounda weather in February is slightly warmer than last month and it’s a great time to visit for some winter sunshine.

    Geographical influences

    Nestled on the northern coast of Crete, Elounda is a charming resort found in the Mirabello Bay. Its location means that the beaches are shaded and the waters are very calm. The sun continues to shine all month, which is perfect for exploring the harbour and sightseeing the local archaeological attractions in town. The mild winter weather in Elounda is attributed to the region’s warm Mediterranean climate that brings high temperatures to Crete all year round.
