Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Corfu in October?
Corfu’s the second largest island in the Ionian Sea, and sits just off Greece’s northwest coast. With typical long, hot Mediterranean summers, you'll still get lots of sun if you book your Corfu holidays in October, although there will be quite a bit of rain too.
Climatic influences
Corfu’s two mountain ranges divide the island into three districts and bring more rain to the island than other Greek islands. Cool breezes will keep you comfortable when temperatures are high, while Corfu has relatively high humidity which means there are occasional storms, though these usually clear quickly and leave behind sunny skies.
Averages
During October the average high temperature’s 23ºC, which is perfectly warm enough to relax on the beach when the weather’s clear. You should bring some warmer clothes for the evenings as things can get a bit chilly, while a waterproof jacket’s also a good idea. The average sea temperature’s 22ºC, while humidity’s low and ranges from 50% to well over 90%. There’s more rain as the month goes on, with an average of 120mm across 11 rainy days.
Daylight
During October you can expect 11 hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be moderate level so make sure you use sun cream, while sunset’s after 7.20pm at the start of the month; this gradually gets earlier until it’s before 6pm towards the end of October when daylight saving finishes.
