Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Corfu in August?
Corfu’s the second largest Ionian island, sitting just off Greece’s northwest coast. This means you can be sure of hot weather in August, which is one of the hottest and driest months of the year. Two high mountain ranges mean Corfu has more rain than other Greek destinations but this is mainly over winter. You'll be kept cool by breezes on the coast and the island has quite high humidity too. This means you might get the occasional downpour or storm but these usually clear quickly.
Averages
The average high in Corfu is 31ºC in August, which is perfect beach weather. Things stay pleasant in the evenings with temperatures only dropping to 18ºC at night. The sea’s lovely for swimming at 25ºC while humidity’s high. There’s typically 22mm of rain over four days, and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with 11 long hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be very high so bring plenty of sun cream. The sun goes down just before 9pm at the start of the month, making it ideal for dinner with a sunset view.
