Stag weekend in Prague

Cheap beer, fun activities and buzzing nightlife have made Prague one of Europe's top stag weekend destinations.

If you want to get your thrills speeding downhill, try the Bobova Draha bobsleigh track. It's a kilometre long and you can get up to 62km per hour as you whizz through its eight curves on the way down.

Prague is famous for its beer, so don't miss out on a brewery tour. Staropramen is the biggest name in town, and has a visitors centre that takes you through the history of brewing. There’s also smaller craft breweries like Klášterní Pivovar Strahov and U Fleků, which both run tours and tastings.

If you can't decide on just one brewery, sign up for a beer tour that takes you around some of Prague's top breweries and beer pubs. Or try Dlouhá’s Prague Beer Museum, which is more bar than museum with over 30 different beers on tap for you to sup on.

Prague has a few clubs where stag dos are welcome. Karlova’s Zlatý Strom is an underground bar and club which has three bars, chill out areas, dance floors and even a pole dancing room. DJs play a mix of 80s, 90s and current tracks. If you're feeling brave you can tackle their speciality drink, an eight-man mojito that comes in a giant bowl with eight straws.

Novotného lávka’s Klub Lávka is another good club option. It has a riverside terrace that's perfect for early evening drinks, before the party moves inside with dance tunes and podium dancers.
