    What’s the weather like in Troulos in January?

    The weather in Troulos in January is fairly mild, but it’s one of the coldest months of the year for the resort. It doesn’t get too cold, but there can be a fair amount of rainfall throughout the month. You’ll still be able to get out and explore the area, but you won’t be able to make the most of the island’s beautiful beaches as you would in the summer.

    Geographical influences

    The resort of Troulos is centred around its popular beach, which is one of the best on the island. There are over 60 beaches on Skiathos, which is impressive considering it’s only seven miles long and four miles wide. The island is one of the Sporades and it’s located in the north-west Aegean Sea. It has a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Aside from its many beaches, the island has wooded and rugged landscapes.
