Sitting off the west coast of Greece, Lefkas is a beautiful island close to the mainland, connected by a bridge. The lovely Ionian destination has a Mediterranean climate bringing hot, sunny summers and mild winters to the region, with temperatures cooling down as October goes on. It can still feel rather warm in Lefkas at this time of year, but there’s quite a bit of rain this month. If you don’t mind the odd shower, October is a great month to visit Lefkas to avoid the crowds.
