As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Lefkas in May?
Sitting just off the west coast of Greece, Lefkas is an Ionian island which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. It has a Mediterranean climate bringing hot, sunny summers and mild, wet winters to the area. Temperatures rise quite quickly as May goes on and summer draws closer, and you can expect lots of warm weather along with the occasional shower if you visit at this time. Lefkas is known for its wind, which means the island’s great for water sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Averages
In May, the average temperature in Lefkas is 18ºC, with highs of 22ºC and lows of 14ºC. It’s t-shirt weather during the day but you’ll probably need a jumper or cardigan for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants. Around 40mm of rain’s expected over the course of eight days in May, so if you see a shower it’ll usually be short-lived. If you want to go for a swim in the sea, the Ionian water’s a mild 19ºC this month.
