Hotel from hell - All the owner wants is your money.

Previously I reviewed this hotel, however the review was based on the tattooist only. This review is to cover the absolute shambolic run hotel itself. Unfortunately the owner is useless! The bar staff in this place were all fantastic and the fact that they have all quit after this season and looking elsewhere shows exactly what a hell hole the place is. First after booking and paying a year in advance for our 2 bedroom apartment, on arrival we were placed in a 1 bedroom with not enough beds or bedding to accommodate the party. No offer to reimburse for the extra price we had paid for the larger apartment. Secondly, The 2nd room that was booked and again a year in advance and paid for wasn’t even available. Leaving our family sleeping on a sun lounger for the 1st night! It’s not even as if we arrived early, we arrived later that evening. Again no reimbursement offered. 3rd, Aircon - Fair enough paying for it, no issue with that what so ever, But we expected it to be on and not turned off all the time and having to go back and forth to reception for it to be turned on again. I won’t even number now, Newly decorated rooms yet the door frames are falling off, electric wires showing which were live and the flooring dividers had split leaving sharp edging. You couldn’t walk around without footwear. Guest were throwing out their room a day early when they had all documents showing their departure date. The hotel manager showed no remorse for this family who had 3 young children, 1 which was disabled. All he cared about was the getting more people in to take money from. Threatening the family with police if they didn’t leave. We invited the family in to our room for the final night. Pretty much sleeping on top of one another. Of course the owner didn’t mind this, thinking we’d be lining his pockets that evening at the bar. He thought wrong! I didn’t come home and leave a review straight away as I contact our travel company who were investigating. This has taken 4 months and today they have apologised that the disgusting little owner is refusing to compensate for our losses. Speaking to guest in the 2 weeks we were there, it is very clear a lot of people have faced the same issues. I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit this hotel and I’ll certainly be leaving the same review everywhere I can to spread awareness of this experience so other don’t make the same mistake.

I have rated this property as I have PURELY on expectations for price. It would be wrong to expect porter service, room service and gold taps in the bathroom from a hotel in this price bracket. Having said that, there is everything you need for a reliable base. Just a five-minute walk from the beach; ten minute walk from the legendary Bazaar. Don't be intimidated by the traders plying their business, persuading you to go into their shop to be sold all manner of hats, tee shirts and other genuine fake labels. The hotel itself is well manned, nothing is too much for the staff. The apartments are clean and relatively well-maintained, remember expectations. Things can and do go wrong - I now know which switch to knock to get my lights operating properly. The food here is good; freshly cooked bar style food. Hygiene is important - the array of food I have shown you was put out for an evening barbecue and was served rapidly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

So nice hotel and best location. Staff iwas polite and helpful. We enjoy very much!!! And big bonus in the hotel was very very good and talented tattoo artist Jeremiah he was very nice guy and make me very happy with my new lovely tattoos very high recommendations for a great tattoo artist and of course the hotel (jeremiahaaronn instagram)
